A World of Myth and Legend
Altavia is the world in which this campaign takes place. Altavia is a diverse, expanse world with five continents and ten countries. The world has survived two Mage Wars and three Orc Wars by the time this campaign begins. There has been very little peace in the world for thousands of years.
Kirinos_ – A large semi-desert country that borders Calinos. This country follows the Olympian Gods and is very reliant on their military. Currently ruled by King Herodes the Bold.
Calinos_ – This desert country borders Kalinos. It’s great pyramids are monuments to the great Pharaohs of old. They follow the Pharaonic pantheon. Currently ruled by Pharaoh Ptolemy.
Valir – This country is cold and rainy. The sky is often dark and cold. They follow the Celtic Pantheon. There is no true political structure in Valir. They rely on warlords.
Naxia – This oriental country is lush and green. There are several massive bamboo forests and many great jungles. It is currently ruled by Emperor Daisuke Takahashi.
Norsic – This country is full of vikings and barbarians. But, they have a firm grasp of lordship. They are currently ruled by Lord Alfarr the great. They follow the Asgardian Pantheon.
Joray – This country is one of the newest countries in the world. It was once ruled by Naxia, but gained it’s independence during the first Mage War. It is a cultural melting pot and doesn’t have a unified government.
Mita – This country will not be featured in the campaign. They are ruled by a council of mages.
Lirina – This country is not featured in this campaign. They are ruled by a parliament of merchants and nobles.
Tu-Rey – This country/continent is not featured in the campaign. It is very old and mysterious.
Zafi – A small archipelago. Not much is known about the people who live here.
